Today, I finished up the brake overhaul. Last night, with some help from my wife, I was able to bleed the brake system. Today, I remounted the wheels, torqued the rear axle nuts and installed the cotter pins. I made a final adjustment of the rear brakes and even installed the dust plugs over the inspection and adjusting holes in the rear brake back plates. A quick drive around the block confirmed the car will stop. Now for some easy driving to seat the brakes.

I am still waiting on the new rear bumper brackets to come back from the powder coating shop but I think it is time to drive the car and think about what project might be next.
