My project to freshen up the Ghia has started. She seemed a bit naked without the VW emblem on the front of the car…so I dressed her up a bit by installing the emblem.
Today I took some time to adjust the check the spark plugs, adjust the values, set the dwell and change the oil. Once that was done I was able to step back and noticed something to be added to my project list…figure out how to straighten the rear bumper. In the picture below you can see the bumper is higher on the left than on the right. It is also shifted a bit to the left as well. It appears the brackets are bent so I have ordered new brackets as a starting point for to this project.
